These dance styles blend ballet and jazz dance and produce a feel that is generally smoother than ballet and a bit faster but not as fast as jazz.  The choreography strives to interpret the story and emotions of the music and the dancer attempts to convey strong emotions such as love, joy, despair and anger through movement and facial expressions.

A solid foundation in ballet technique and familiarity with jazz are essential.

Dress Code: Dancers are required to wear a leotard (any color), Soffee shorts (or similar), footless tights, Dancepaws or FootUndeez.
